Here's the scoop:
A "queue" is a line, or waiting list.
A "cue" is a hint, or prompt.
A "que" is nothing (at least not in English).

One does not "unthaw" something. Something thaws. (Though this one is amusing.)
Nothing is "laxadaisical."
