The Day The Music Died

Today I got some news. They have decided to close the Boston office. Effective Mar 15th I will be laid off. Time to start looking for another job. And here I thought this might be the one.

Oh, no. I'm sorry.... I must say I like how you said you got "some news." Most people would say "some BAD news." Maybe it wasn't intentional, but it seems to me that it fits how you often think...

Well, it is news. Increasingly, it seems pretty hard to find the One True Job. The more time that goes by, the more I think that the best chance is starting your own business. And those usually fail.
